Live classes resume in July. Virtual classes are still available (same curriculum).
Our Foundations classes offer a sensory-rich yet caring and gentle environment where infants and young toddlers can explore and react to new sounds, sensations, objects, and movements. Things taught develop neural pathways that support learning in the areas of language development, physical development and coordination, spatial awareness, emotional and social development, and more.
Level 1 classes provide toddlers with a stimulating setting to explore their new movement and language skills with a sense of security, comfort, and confidence. Children grow neural pathways that improve literacy and language development, sequencing skills, spatial awareness and coordination, self-regulation, and more.
Level 2 classes encourage older toddlers to initiate their own ideas, nurturing social-emotional growth and cognitive development in a playful, exploratory environment. Children grow neural pathways that improve literacy and language development, logic and sequencing skills, spatial awareness and coordination, self-regulation, and more.
Level 3 classes are designed to engage preschoolers’ natural love of music and activate their imaginations, while developing their growing language and social-emotional skills. Caregivers are invited to attend the last 15 minutes of class to see what their child has learned. Children further develop language, literacy and math skills. They also learn early stages of music skills as well as reinforce sequencing, logic, sefl-regulation, and coordination.
Mixed-age classes accommodate all levels of learning and musical interest. Classes are customized to the ages of the children in class and are supportive of learning in a variety of areas (see the levels). These classes are also great for family bonding with multiple siblings.
This term class encourages bonding between child and caregiver and uses musical learning activities to stimulate neural brain development. Parents also learn how to encourage their baby's learning through vocal play, object exploration, creative movement, focused listening, and more.
Encourage toddlers to be creative, to initiate their own ideas and respond in their own ways. As they explore, move, listen, learn, sing, relax and bond with their caregiver, they'll uncover an engaging musical world while building confidence, self-control, and communication skills.
Level 4 classes offer children exciting first experiences with musical symbols and more complex instruments, laying the groundwork for later lessons. You'll join the fun for the last 15 minutes as your child begins to master musical terms and concepts, building a strong foundation for learning in other subjects like math, reading and writing!
In Imagine That, we use the power of music to tap into prechoolers' spirit and boundless energy. We will focus on developing their learning strengths and self-confidence so they will be ready for school, prepared for future music lessons, ...or able to leap tall buildings.
We will be adding classes for children ages 4-6 and ages 5-7. Level 4 classes, for children ages 4-6, offer first experiences with musical symbols and more advanced instruments, laying the groundwork for formal music instruction and ensuring school readiness.
Level 5 classes, Kindermusik for the young child, are our most advanced classes. They offer children the opportunity to use music notation to play a variety of instruments and participate in ensembles, while developing problem-solving and pre-literacy skills. Caregivers are invited to attend the last 15 minutes to see what their child has learned.
